A Dynamic and Frictionless Cart Experience That Keeps Users Moving Forward

Mini-Cart/Slide-Cart Experience

The mini-cart is a key checkpoint before checkout, but our previous design was a passive list that only functioned for viewing, leading to friction and unnecessary user drop-off. My redesign has transformed it from a simple list into a powerful sales tool, directly addressing key friction points. By integrating new features like a progress bar, editable item details (quantity and frequency), and strategic upsell options, we've created a dynamic, transparent, and motivating experience. The new custom-designed slide-cart simplifies the path to purchase and positions Purity Products' promotions exactly when the customer needs the incentive, leading to a projected reduction in cart abandonment and a boost in Average Order Value (AOV).
